#15 Best Places to Work in Houston, TX

You have conversations, not sales pitches: You keep it casual. You do not want your customer to feel like you’re always pushing them to buy, so you move your focus away from the sales pitch, and more toward building a relationship. Once the relationship is in place, your sales come naturally. You are genuine: You know that people can tell when sales associates are being insincere, and clients will stop trusting you as soon as you seem fake. You maintain your relationships: You will not put in this hard work, only to fall out of touch with clients once the deal has closed. You keep in touch. You probably follow their company on social media and in the news, send them congratulations, small talk, and message them on their successes. You let them know when you release new product, and/or add more features. You consistently remind them that you care about their success and their happiness.
