Role:
The role will require the team member to become very familiar with certain vendors, their processes and the different avenues of communication between sales, customer service and operations to make changes as needed and meet customer expectations.

Tactically, there will be daily ordering of products that are being requested from the sales team and online purchases. From there, the team member will, through training, use their knowledge to offer better options in regard to those sales that may result in a better customer experience.

The team member will be in constant communication with the vendors to ensure that the lead times Ledge gives its customers are accurate and if changes need to be made, they are shared company wide.

The team member will work closely with the manager to ensure all the supply chain and vendor management functions and metrics are being met to ensure on time delivery and a high level of customer satisfaction through daily tactical execution on orders and constant cross-department communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Ops manager in managing Vendor relationships.
  • Purchase daily as necessary and keep KPIs on purchased goods, received goods and on-time/past lead time orders.
  • Engage in weekly vendor meetings to discuss scorecards, challenges and resolutions.
  • Gather and analyze the supply chain data to maintain effective scorecards, solve any issues and put alternative plans in place.
  • Assist in implementing methods, approaches and solutions to maximize the supply chain.
  • Wok with Ops manager in maintaining product lead times; recognize and address any obscurities or issues as they arise.
  • Communicate with other departments on product ETAs to assist with the customer experience.
  • Work with vendors on to determine ideal scheduling and timelines for inbound or drop shipped product.
  • Develop and/or provide feedback on reporting and tracking processes to ensure leadership has accurate and useful information.

Requirements:

  • General knowledge of Supply Chain practices and functions.
  • Ability to maintain organized records.
  • Ability to produce a variety of reports based on information gathered from vendors.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates.
  • General understanding of Microsoft office.
  • ERP experience a plus.
