The role will require the team member to become very familiar with certain vendors, their processes and the different avenues of communication between sales, customer service and operations to make changes as needed and meet customer expectations.
Tactically, there will be daily ordering of products that are being requested from the sales team and online purchases. From there, the team member will, through training, use their knowledge to offer better options in regard to those sales that may result in a better customer experience.
The team member will be in constant communication with the vendors to ensure that the lead times Ledge gives its customers are accurate and if changes need to be made, they are shared company wide.
The team member will work closely with the manager to ensure all the supply chain and vendor management functions and metrics are being met to ensure on time delivery and a high level of customer satisfaction through daily tactical execution on orders and constant cross-department communication.
